FIRST ON FOX: Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., introduced a bill aimed at upending the Biden administration's "equity" approach to the distribution of monoclonal antibody treatments for COVID-19.
상원의원 Rubio는 코로나-19의 단일클론항체치료제 분배에 대한 바이든 행정부의 공정한 접근을 뒤집기 위한 법안을 제출했다.
Rubio introduced the Treatment Restoration for Emergency Antibody Therapeutics (TREAT) Act on Tuesday in response to a Biden administration change that forces states to go through the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to receive the treatments, and places caps on how many treatments each state can receive.
Rubio는 HHS(보건인적서비스부?)가 치료제를 받아 각 주들이 얼마나 많은 치료제를 받을 수 있는지 한계를 정하는 것을 각 주들이 받아 들이도록 강제하는 바이든 행정부의 지침변경에 대응하여 긴급항체치료 처리복원법안을 도입했다.
Previously, medical providers could order the antibody treatments directly from the supplier.
기존에는 의료서비스 제공자들이 공급자에게 항체치료제들을 직접 주문할 수 있었다.
If passed, Rubio's bill would prevent HHS from putting policies in place that prevent health care providers and hospitals from purchasing monoclonal antibody treatments from distributors and manufacturers.
만약 법안이 통과된다면, Rubio의 법안은 헬스케어 제공자들과 병원들이 제조사나 대리점들로부터 단일클론 항체치료제들을 직접 구매하는 것을 불허하는 정책을 HHS가 도입하는 것을 막을 것이다…

미국은 이제 부족한 항체치료제를 확보하기 위한 주정부와 중앙정부의 갈등수준을 넘어 의회와 중앙정부의 법안 갈등까지 발생하고 있는것 같네요…
지금까지 FDA 사용허가 심사를 위한 사전 미팅으로 아직 FDA에 사용허가 신청을 회사가 하지 못하고 있다는게 좀 이해가 안되는 상황인 듯…
회사가 좀더 힘을 내고 주주들에게 믿음직스럽고 설득력있는 모습을 보이길 바라네요..
