한국의 어떤 그룹으로 부터 현 시총의 겨우 1/100인 겨우 420,000,000$라는 금액으로 셀트리온을 인수 제의를 받았다가, 이를 정중히 거절한 후부터 지금까지 셀트리온은 거대한 자금력을 바탕으로 하는 공매도 세력에 시달리고 있다는 건 한국에서는 알만한 사람들은 다 아는 유명한 일화이기도 합니다.

그런 와중에 현재 셀트리온 회사는, 바이오시밀러 의약품의 끊임없는 개발 성공과 판매 실적으로 인해 엄청난 성장과 더불어, 특히 앞서 언급한 코19 바이러스 치료제를 세계 3번째로 개발을 성공한 실적까지 내고 있는데도 아직 거대 공매도 자금력으로 인해 제대로 주식의 평가를 못받고 있는 참담한 형편입니다.

저희 한국내 셀트리온 투자 개인들은 이런 공매로 인한 피해를 10년가까이 보면서도 그들의 막강한 자본력과 금융당국의 이해못할 무관심으로 인해 달리 손쓸 여지가 없이 오랜 시간 피해만 보며 마음 아파하고 있습니다.

There is one big episode in this process. About 10 years ago, when the company continued to grow in various difficult environments, A group in Korea received an offer to acquire Celltrion for an amount of only $420,000,000, which is only 1/100 of the current market cap.

It is a famous anecdote that everyone knows that Celltrion has suffered from short selling forces based on huge financial power.
